Bonjour,

Mon Mac Mini (1.66 /1Go ram) met près de 6 minutes à démarrer, c'est un enfer. Arrivé sur le bureau, après, tout fonctionne bien.

Je suis sous 10.5.4, mais le problème n'est pas nouveau; c'était déjà ça sous Tiger, et toutes ses mises à jour successives (j'ai réinstallé tout proprement un nombre de fois incalculable...).
Les permissions ont beau être réparées, le disque vérifié : rien n'y fait.
Une souris Logitech, un clavier PC noname + clavier Apple BT ancienne génération "nid à poussière" sont reliés au Mac. J'ai testé en débranchant tout, en attendant, puis en ne mettant rien, puis que la souris, ou que le clavier Apple : aucun changement, le mac démarre super lentement.

Dernièrement, j'ai basculé vers un affichage "verbeux" pour tracer l'activité, et il me semble que ça bloque à plusieurs endroits, mais je ne suis pas spécialiste... voici un extrait du fichier system.log :

Ré-essaye en débranchant VRAIMENT tout, y compris la clé USB qui s'appelle "NANTES_USB", et surtout tout ce qui est FireWire.

Ré-initialise la PRAM (voir dans ma signature)

En dessous de ce trait c'est ma signature automatique, donc ça n'a pas forcément de rapport direct avec ma réponse...
Dans le doute, dites-vous que c'est de l'humour...

Merci pour ta réponse, je viens de suivre le pas-à-pas pour réinitialiser la PRAM, mais sans grand succès : le mac mini a mis 5 minutes à se lancer.

J'avais préalablement tout retiré (cable DVI compris), et laissé ainsi le mini 2 minutes,avant de rebrancher DVI, alim, clavier. PAS la souris. NB: je n'ai aucun périphérique Firewire...

A ce problème de démarrage s'ajoute le fait que la machine ne s'éteint pas : la souris optique reste allumée, et on entend un léger souffle en s'approchant (est-ce le disque dur, ou le ventilo tournant lentement ?). Je ne sais pas si tout est lié, mais ça me paraît compliqué à résoudre...

Là où le mini semble le plus stationner, c'est sur l'écran bleu.

Cette fois, j'avais tout débranché hormis le DVI (!), et le clavier Apple BT. C'est donc avec lui, que j'ai lancé la procédure de Safe Boot, après que la liaison BT se soit enclenchée (à ce propos, difficile de savoir vraiment). Suis alors arrivé sur un écran de login, mais sans la mention "Démarrage extensions désactivées". Je ne sais pas si ça correspond bien du coup à la procédure décrite par Apple...

Je précise aussi que j'ai aussi une partition Bootcamp, mais qui elle fonctionne très bien : XP se lance en 30 secondes ! Toutefois le démarrage est réglé sur OSX.

Mon mini est récalcitrant. Que puis-je tenter d'autre ?

Visiblement ça n'a pas marché, le Safe Boot, je doute que la connexion Bluetooth s'effectue assez tôt pour que les raccourcis de démarrage fonctionnent...

Du coup, tu es sûr que la ré-initialisation de la PRAM avait marché ?
Tu avais bien entendu plusieurs fois le "coiiiiin" sonore du démarrage, tant que tu maintenait les 4 touches ?

Tu pourrais pas essayer avec un vrai clavier en USB ?

Je lance l'idée en l'air, mais çà ressemble a un disque dur un peu fatigué. Si t'a un disque dur externe (ou une grosse clé USB) sous la main çà serais pas mal si tu installais MacOS X dessus voir si ca boot toujours aussi lentement.

Quand tu boot sur le DVD d'installation du mac, c'est lent aussi ?

J'ai rebranché le clavier noname USB, et oui j'ai bien entendu le bong après avoir maintenu alt+pomme+P+R. J'ai maintenu le truc histoire de l'entendre 4 fois... Mais le démarrage a été très lent, comme d'habitude.

Ensuite, j'ai suivi la procédure de Safe Boot, avec la touche Majuscule : suis bien arrivé cette fois sur une boite de login avec la mention "Extensions désactivées". Le démarrage m'a paru rapide (environ 3 minutes). Ci-joint l'extrait de la console. Toutefois, j'ai redémarré normalement ensuite (via le menu Pomme), et là ça s'est remis à patiner grave !

Lorsque je boot sur le DVD Leopard, ça me paraît lent, mais normal , étant donnés la nature du support et les accès disque.
Je ne dispose que d'une clé de 1Go; est-ce suffisant pour booter dessus, et surtout quelle marche à suivre pour installer un système basique ? Pouvez-vous m'indiquer un tuto qui marche (que vous avez réellement essayé vous-mêmes). Merci beaucoup pour l'attention que vous portez à mon problème, j'aimerais tant être un user comme les autres !!

Essaye de le désactiver (Préférences Système > Bluetooth), et redémarre ?

Ça pourrait être dû à une mauvaise communication entre ton clavier Bluetooth et le mini...
